As an "artist" I am self-taught, during a very rough abuse and neglect riddled childhood. I am mainly a hobbyist, but I do paid commissions on occasion. I have done works for churches, hospitals, the local ambulance service and police department. Mostly I do work for private commission, which is usually portrait-from-photo work.

My favorite media is stippling, though it is not my strongest area. Most of my work is graphite, but I dabble a little in other areas.

I was a Corpsman (AKA medic) with 2nd Marine Division with several deployments. I have worked as a Security Specialist for the Dept. of Homeland Security, 20+ years as a paramedic, and currently as a cop. I am the departments range master - responsible for all of the firearms training and weapons maintenance.

Needless to say, drawing is still an important means for escape and mental health.

My favorites section is almost exclusively pics that I have a desire to draw, and a few that just blow me away!

I also participate in another form of art. I build precision rifles for Extreme Long Range shooting. My goal is to maintain sub 1 MOA beyond 1500 yards.
